CZ-4 delivery, warranty & returns.
Citzen delivers the CZ-4 free nationwide and ships orders within 3 working days; for Sabah and Sarawak, allow up to 3 weeks. Every CZ-4 has a 1-year (365-day) local warranty from the date of purchase, registered automatically on order. It covers malfunctioning components and manufacturing defects, not damage from negligence, mishandling or misuse, and you pay the postage on a warranty claim. Citzen operates a no-refund policy.

How long does CZ-4 delivery take, and what does it cost?
There is no online checkout, so delivery is arranged in your WhatsApp chat when you order. If you need the notebook by a fixed date, such as the start of a school term, an exam or a work trip, name that date in your first message and order early.

What does the CZ-4's 1-year warranty cover, and what does it not cover?
The warranty starts on the date of purchase and is registered automatically when you order, so there is nothing for you to register.

Not sure whether it is a defect?
A manufacturing defect, which the CZ-4 warranty covers, and damage from mishandling, which it does not, can look alike from the outside. Describe the problem on WhatsApp before you send the notebook anywhere: asking first can save you the postage. Until you have asked, we suggest you do not open the notebook or try a repair yourself, so the fault can still be seen as it happened.
How do I make a CZ-4 warranty claim, and what should I prepare?
Our support team is on WhatsApp at +60 12-565 2091, the same hotline you order on. The first message of a CZ-4 warranty claim does most of the work: when it already shows the fault, the date you bought and what you have tried, nothing has to be asked twice. These five steps are our suggestions for that first message.
- 01
Find your order chat
It records when you bought, and the warranty runs from the date of purchase.
- 02
Describe the fault in a few lines
What happens, when it started, whether it happens every time, and anything that came just before it, such as a software update.
- 03
Show it
A clear photo of a visible fault, or a short video of one that comes and goes, explains more than a long message.
- 04
Back up your files
Copy your work somewhere safe before the notebook leaves your hands, and sign out of accounts you would not want left open.
- 05
Ask where it should go
Ask whether to post the notebook or bring it to a service centre. Postal and delivery costs for warranty claims are borne by the customer, so pack it well if you post it.
Can I return the CZ-4 or get a refund?
No. We operate a no-refund policy. Please reach out on WhatsApp before purchase: we're happy to walk you through specs, configurations and use-cases so you can buy with confidence. Settle these points in the chat before you pay:
- The total price, written in the chat.
- How payment works. Government educators can ask about our interest-free installment plan.
- Your delivery address, and the delivery time to your state.
- Your needed-by date, if you have one.
- Your actual use: schoolwork, office software, video calls. Ask whether the CZ-4 suits it.
- What comes with the order: ask rather than assume.
What if the CZ-4 arrives damaged or does not start?
Message the hotline on the day it arrives, before you use it further, with photos of the box and the notebook, and describe what you see. Keep the chat afterwards: it is your written record of what was agreed and what you reported.
