A day with CZ-4
Built for the moments between meetings.
It's not just a tool. It's the thing on the kitchen table at 7am, in your bag on the LRT, and open on the balcony at midnight. A laptop should keep up.
Morning06:30
06:30 — Morning
Open the lid. Be ready.
Wakes from sleep in under a second. The fingerprint reader gets you in before your coffee finishes brewing.
14:00 — Afternoon
Eight tabs, two calls, one cable.
Single-cable USB-C dock at the desk. 65 W charging, dual external displays, network — the works. No dongle theatre.
23:00 — Late
Quiet keys. Warm light.
Backlit chiclet keys with 1.5 mm of travel and amber glow. Cool to the touch, even after a four-hour render.

Designed in detail
Small choices, made carefully.
Hardware that feels good in the hand is hardware that gets used. We sweat the parts that touch you — the lid hinge, the trackpad glass, the way the keyboard sounds at midnight.
CZ-4 · The display
The display
A panel that's easy on the eyes.
14-inch 2560 × 1600 at 16:10 and 144 Hz, with anti-glare coating so the afternoon sun doesn't write you off. The colours are honest — no oversaturated tricks, just a panel that's comfortable to read for long stretches.
- 14-inch 2560 × 1600 · 16:10
- 144 Hz refresh
- Anti-glare coating
- Slim 2.4 mm bezel
The chassis
Aluminium that feels like furniture.
A CNC-milled 6063 aluminium unibody, sandblasted and anodised. Cool to the touch in the morning, warm under your wrists by lunch. The kind of thing you'd leave out, not put away.
- 1.39 kg
- 312 × 220 × 15.9 mm
- 6063 aluminium unibody
- Lunar Silver finish
The everyday ports
Ports for real life. Not the brochure.
Two USB-C, two USB-A, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, headphones, Kensington lock. Plug into the projector at the office, the TV at home, the dongle nobody packed at the café — without rummaging.
- USB-C × 2 (USB 4)
- USB-A × 2 + HDMI
- Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.3
- RJ-45 + Kensington

It doesn't try to be the loudest thing on the desk. It just works, every day, and that's what I needed.
